Today was a good day

I have finished 3 weeks at the PTO and am enjoying it immensely. I have been working on a project for an interlocutory attorney and it has been all-consuming. Hopefully I will finish this project someday soon as I would like to come out of the cave from time to time.

I also had an interesting conversation with a TM practitioner. The details are topsecret and will be revealed when I have more concrete information in my possession.

One Week of Work Down

I made it through my first week of work at the PTO unscathed and it seems like a great place to work. The environment is very casual for a law related office. Before beginning I was told that the dress was business casual but after a week there I am beginning to wonder what the definition of business casual is these days. I see plenty of people who are just plain casual walking around the offices, often in jeans and a polo.

The work is interesting, albeit a little slow at this time. There are a whopping 6 interns in the trademark office and surprisingly there hasn't been the expected deluge of requests from the examining attorneys.

The complex is amazing. The PTO takes up 6 buildings and is a beautiful campus. I will have to take some photos one day and post them.
