Dinosaurs Live!

We went to "Walking with Dinosaurs" last night and I must say the show didn't disappoint. While there wasn't a whole lot of action in the show the true draw was just seeing the lifelike dinos walking and roaring. As always the most enjoyable part of the show was watching Rachel's expression as the dinos came out and did their thing. She especially enjoyed the brachiosaurus because "it is a leaf eater". I must say Rachel is a bit of a paradox as she wore earplugs and placed her hands over her ears the entire time because of the loud noises. This despite the fact that she is the single loudest person on earth!

Erin, on the other hand, loved the show despite the loud noises. She pointed to the dinos and said her all-purpose word (it sounds like "Cigar!") throughout the show.

Here is a little clip of the show via youtube:

And the obligatory photo of the girls at the show:

I think it is time

I am going to quit posting to this blog for now and just use my thefamilycreed.com blog for the time being. In the future I hope to point this domain at my professional site and stop posting items of personal interest.

Best Day of School Yet

Due to some nasty weather every single one of my classes were canceled today! I really hoped I could avoid going out in this nasty stuff and my wish was granted...

The Big Decision 08

No I am not talking about the Primaries, but instead about where we will live come graduation in May. After a lot of debate and hand-wringing, we have decided to move back to Tucson. A major factor in our decision was the fact that we still own our home in Tucson and financially it is just too difficult to maintain two homes. We know that it will not sell at this point, the housing market is just too bad these days. Things might have been different if either the PTO worked out (not hiring in the near future) or Lowe Hauptman (offer wasn't very good).

So now it looks as though I am back to the drawing board! At least we have a house to live in!

Thank You NY

As a life-long Steelers fan it was supremely gratifying to watch the Patriots lose yesterday. I recognize how good this team was but having to listen to the "greatest team of all-time" and "greatest QB ever" talk was just too much. Thank you G-men for silencing the Boston media for me!

Hiatus

I have been on an unintentional hiatus from blogging over the last month. Hopefully I will get things going again soon.
